Holts Summit, Mo – BluTaco, the southwestern Mexican hot food brand by PFSbrands®, opens its first standalone restaurant at 135 City Plaza in Holts Summit on Monday, February 4, 2019. BluTaco started as a business-within-a-business model, but this new corporate-owned restaurant will feature an expanded menu and act as a “living laboratory” for the PFSbrands headquarters, located just a half-mile down the road, to experiment with new products to see what customers like.
Staking its claim as “Simply Southwest Goodness,” BluTaco strives to bring a unique flavor experience to customers with its blue corn tortillas and “Go TruBlu” saucing differentiator. The menu at the standalone restaurant includes burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, nachos, and salads. It will also include brand new proteins and topping options, along with dessert.
To make ordering even easier, BluTaco has a brand new mobile app (available on the Google Play Store and App Store) that allows customers to place their order online and pick it up at the convenient mobile drive up window. The speed and convenience at the drive up window is expected to be part of the BluTaco winning strategy. Plus, mobile ordering earns points for free food later. And now, anyone who signs up for the BluTaco App will receive one free order of chips & salsa!
