As the country begins to “open back up”, it is important that we set up our retailers for success. We’ve learned what a pandemic can do, and we should prepare ourselves and our retailers for events like this to happen again in the future.  

One thing is for certain: foodservice programs inside supermarkets and convenience stores that utilize great sanitation practices, serve grab & go options, use ordering technology, or provide delivery/curbside/drive thru services will emerge strongest.

It’s imperative that we work together to encourage our retail partners to embrace these trends so that they’re positioned to compete with QSRs and Fast Casual operators, appeal to their consumers, and position themselves for the future.

In May and June, we are offering our Champs Chicken, Cooper’s Express and Private Label retailers a $25 per case rebate on chicken tenders as part of a Grab & Go opportunity. We recommend you bring in our Grab & Go cups to prepare for these orders. PFSbrands is loading up on truckloads of chicken tenders at record low prices. We’re passing these savings along to our retailers IF they establish grab & go practices AND if they promote $1 chicken tenders to their consumers.

According to our sales data, retailer purchases are off by more than 30% vs. pre-COVID-19 numbers, so we hope this tender promotion can help drive more sales for your retail customers.

We’ve also expanded our wholesaler spiff program thru June. Our Business Developers are ready to get back to work for YOU!
